Musée du Louvre, Paris

October 22, 2025 – January 19, 2026

Institutional Support

Concrete Projects, in collaboration with Bien Sûr Productions, is happy to have supported the production of Mohamed Bourouissa’s installation – Les 4 Temps – on view at the Musée du Louvre from 22 October 2025 to 19 January 2026.

For one year Mohamed Bourouissa filmed the Jardin des Tuileries each week. Capturing changes of seasons, wildlife and life of the space. His year-long observation culminated in Les 4 Temps, a film combining music, theatre, sculpture and video that reflect the rhythm and nature of art.

The work will be presented in the musée du Louvre, a sight of personal significance to Bourouissa as the gallery overlooks Courbevoie and La Défense – the area where he grew up. The show weaves together Les 4 Temps, the shopping centre of his childhood with Nicolas Poussins Four Seasons, displayed in the adjacent gallery, and the seasonal transformations of the four seasons surrounding Paris’s largest public garden.

Mohamed Bourouissa (Algeria, 1978) is a French-Algerian artist known for exploring social dynamics, urban life, and the intersection of art and community. Working across photography, film, drawing, sculpture, and installation, he examines issues of identity, representation, and power. His work reimagines everyday realities with cinematic precision, blending documentary observation with staged narratives to reveal the poetry and tension of contemporary life.
